Happy Easter!

Hey everyone!

Happy Easter! Suprisingly, this is the first Easter with snow for me since I can remember. Also called 'White Easter'. As a kid I always liked it when it was snowing around Christmas, which is so not the case for the last couple of years. And to imagine that we have a White Easter this year, is pretty hard.

But who cares? Sure, I would like to have a bit more sun after all those cold and dark days, but I can't control the weather, right? Anyway, how was your first day of Easter? How do you celebrate it?

You might remember my Easter post last year, where I told you about the 1 kilogram bunny of chocolate which I didn't bought. But this year, I did! I still have it, cause it is so much! I really like the chocolate, but for some reason I get fat... how come?

As usual, we had nice breakfast and dinner! It's something we always do on special occasions. This year, also my grandma came by to have dinner with us, so nice! That's what I like most about Easter, when you get all together.

What I also like lately, are all the occasion-tutorials. Last time I saw a nailtutorial for Easter, so cute! I love pastel colours and those egg-nails looked adorable. I even tried them myself because they said it was 'easy', but even then I failed. :( I also saw a cake based on Easter, but I didn't dare to start that with my clumsy-ness.

Tomorrow I will post my LOTW, hope you all enjoy your second day tomorrow!

Labyrinth of Fabric | Cosplaymaterial Searching

Hey everyone!

As I already told you in the last post, last sunday I went to an expo full of fabric. Really, All you saw was fabric, zippers, buttons, and more fabric.  Why I was there? Well, since I am a huge fan of cosplay but have a budget to spend on costumes, I made them myself. Since people really liked my selfmade costumes of Park Bom and Asuna, I'm really inspired to do more.

Also this time, I want to make a costume for my favourite character of the moment, Asuna from Sword Art Online. And not the original fighers costume or the Alfheim costume I made before. No, I want to make the schooluniform which you only see in the last episode. The next Cosplayconvention I'm going to is Animecon, so I have plenty of time this time to make things work.

So when my friend and I walked in this expo, we didn't know where to start. It was pretty big and they had all sorts of fabric. With only 30 euros in my pocket, I had to search for what I need. And it felt like searching for a needle in a haysack...

We saw many things, many colors, but everytime it just didn't seem to be 'it'. We were there for an hour, and still couldn't find anything. Then the color didn't match, the fabric was wrong, or there was some print on it. It just wasn't our day. And when our hope got lost in this labyrinth, we went home.

My perfect fabric!! :D
But that's not it. As we walked back, something catched my eye. The right color!! So I was looking at my friend and he thought exactly the same. To be sure, he googled a photo of the outfit and I couldn't believe it: it was the right color! And as I touched this fabric, I was like, in heaven? I was so happy that it all matched together. This is the fabric I wanted. This is the fabric I needed. And now, I have it at home, wondering where I actually put it. Just kidding ;)

At the end of this adventure, I found my fabric. It took a lot of time, a lot of 'uggghs' and a lot of sad faces that it wasn't perfect, but I found it. The perfect fabric for my costume, and now I can begin!

Hope you enjoyed this blog, and stay tuned!

Look of the Week 12 | Colourful yet Cold

Hey everyone!

As you know it is finally spring! But I should have known that the title 'spring' doesn't mean the weather is better out of nowhere. So I still have to wear my warm sweater and I cannot go outside without my scars or gloves.

Anyway, this week I didn't want to stay in the 'winterfeeling', so I pimped myself up with the most colourful, yet warm clothing to wear. And here is the result!

I wear my green Sweater. It has long sleeves which I like so much! I also like the green colour, it definitely is not boring. This time I combined it with my yellow pants which I told about in my last post, to even pump up the colours in this look. As you can read in my last post, this is a warmer pants, but I still kept it save this time to wear my legging underneath.  This is a great way to warm up your legs, since there doesn't exist such a thing as a winterjeans, while they have 'wintershirts', you know, those so-called hoodies and sweaters ;)

As I was trying my best to make pictures in this cold, a cute kitty came by. And as I am, I couldn't resist it and played with this kitty. I even tried to make pose-pictures, but this kitty didn't seem to amuse that so it ran away quickly.

And last but not least, I wear my new babypink shoes from Atmosphere, to give myself even more colour. Some people even said that I was like a rainbow between all those wintercoloured people. So yeah, I sure got some attention :)

That was it for this week! I hope you enjoyed and stay tuned.

Wardrobe | Spring

Hey everyone!

It is officially spring now! Eventhough I didn't see it yet, but data says spring must come now. Tic-tac tic-tac I guess spring comes a little late this year. Anyhow, that didn't hold me back to go shopping and reclassify my gardrobe! So, let me show you what kind of clothing I would wear this spring, these are my favourite spring clothing this moment. :)

BLAZERS

For the cold days, and there is going to be a lot of cold days the next few weeks, I like to wear blazers. Done with the hoodies, done with the vests. So i got these three cute blazers. First one comes from Korea, yaya :D. It's a soft grey color and it suits really well. It definetely is something cute and feminine. The pink one, I got from the market. I remember I didn't dressed well because of the cold so I bought this blazer. Also this one is cute, but when you leave the button open it gives it a more edgier touch. And the last one, which is my favourite of the moment, is this limegreen blazer. The fabric is very soft and it suits with almost everything. I like the bright colour and the way it fits.

SHIRTS

To start off I really like colorful shirts, or basic with a touch of color. Here you can see a blouse, really really bright orange tanktop, two baggy shirts, a  cute jumpsuit and a slimfit t-shirt. These are great clothing-items to wear when wheather is finally spring-like. First I thought the jumpsuit was a dress, but apparently not. I never had a jumpsuit in my life before but I must say that this one is pretty nice. Furthermore I like shirts a little baggy, loose, and comfortable.
Brands from left to right: Amisu, BSR, Sustilo, Garcia, Atmosphere, Newbreed Girl

                                        SWEATERS

Of course, spring doesn't only know sunny days. So for the colder days I can compare my shirt with one of my blazers, or just wear a sweater once in a while. The first one comes from China, and I'm suprised I actually fit this since I'm way longer than the average Chinese. Anyhow, I really like the golden buttons that gives it an extra touch, and furthermore it is just a simple sweater. :) The other one is a bit thinner, but still warmer than a regular t-shirt. I like the raspberry colour, as I said before I like colours! So for the colder days, I would wear something like this :)
Brands from left to right: Metis, Fishbone

JEANS

And last but not least: jeans. Or else I would be half-naked.... This is my top three of jeans. The first one has this cool bleach-effect that really stands out. I bought this a couple of years ago and I'm still really happy with it! The yellow pants also stands out as you can see. This is great to show your bright side while everyone else is wearing black or grey. And the looks like a boring black pants, but this also has the bleach texture as you can see. What I like about this pants is that the pockets are really deep, so you can put a lot in them! Furthermore it streches really well, just like the other bleached jeans. These two jeans are both pretty thin, so it is better to wear them at the warmer days, while I can wear the yellow jeans at the colder days.

I hope you liked my blog, and stay tuned!

Look of the Week 11 | Sweet VS. Skulls

Hey everyone!!

Next week it officially is spring, but you won't say that when you're living in the Netherlands. Rainy days, snowy days, and sometimes the sun shows himself. But after all, it is still cold and that's sad, because I just bought some new things to put in my spring wardrobe I want to show you next week!!

Anyway, this weeks look is something better for the cold days lately. I hate it when there is so much wind like the last two weeks, it really annoys me. So I'm just not happy with the full photo, because the wind thought it was fun to put hair in my face. I tried several times to take a picture, but in the end I didn't win.

So this weeks look contains two themes: cuteness and toughness. I really like my t-shirt I got from Tsunacon, the riceballs look so cute! Furthermore I wear my jacket with removable capuchon. This jacket is really warm and comfortable. I like the skull on the back, with the detailed star on the eye. And the fake leather sleeves makes the jacket complete.

Furthermore I wear my soft blue pants I bought at New Yorker, where I used to work. I love this pants so much because of the fabric and the gold zippers at the end. Last but not least, I wear my black allstars, because I just couldn't find something else that would fit.

That was it for this LOTW, hope you enjoyed!

Shoplog | Oriental Toko

Hey everyone!

A couple of days ago I went to the biggest asian supermarket (at least that's what they say) from the Netherlands. And of course, I bought all the things that looked cute, adorable or delicious!

To start off I want to talk about this cute little bearbox, filled with jelly. To be honest I bought it just because the bear looked so cute! Oriental sells these lunchboxes in more animalforms such as a frog, panda or piggy, but I found this one the cutest. The jelly is little, but really sweet though. Not that I have enough with only one jelly... but I try not to eat them all at once.

I also bought this candy 'Tango' just because of the looks, pretty bad heh? Anyway, I don't actually understand what they mean with Fruity 2 in 1, but the sweets are fruitflavoured. The packages are tiny with the names of the flavoures, which is handy to take it with you when you're out.

This is one of the things my friend always grabs as soon as we get there. These are little biscuits filled with chocolate and I must admit that they are pretty addictive. Brand is Hello Panda, they also have these filled with strawberry but as a chocoholic I like the chocolate once more. On the biscuits itself there are little panda's printed which is really cute.

This is something I have never heard of it before. I did ever tried Mochi but the cake-thing is something new to me. So this is Mochi Cake, dough filled with some fruitpasta or beanpasta. Normally Mochi is made from sticky rice but this is really like cake. I must say this didn't taste bad, but I had to get used to the flaver. When I first ate Mochi I fell in love, like OMO. But this tastes a little different. It is great as a healthy snack but I can't eat much of it.

Of course, what is an asian supermarket without noodles?!? I freakin' love noodles so also this time I wasn't able to leave the shop without these lovers. I can't tell what my favourite is, because I like all of them! Normally I buy like 20 packages because I really like to eat this asianfood. Sometimes I can't even stand the need for noodles in my stomach when I'm out of them. Perhaps I should go to rehab, but for now I can eat as much as I like!

And what do you need when you eat noodles? That's right, a noodle-bowl! Not sure if it really is called a noodle-bowl, however, I found this one in the shop for only 3,50 euro's. Since I was struggling with getting noodles in my bowl without spoiling hot water over my hands or make a dirty mess, my friend and I thought it was time to buy my own noodle-bowl. I really like the chinese characters, it just makes it so much more 'asianlike'.

This is also candy which my friend bought. It's called HI-CHEW and has also a really sweet taste. To me it has the texture of gum, but it definitely is not. For the people who know MOAM, this is exactly the same, but with better taste. This one has the flavour Lychee but there are more so to me it is something different to try with.

When I first saw these packages I was like: Huh, what is this? But it seems to be powder you have to put in your glass with water. Just like lemonade, but without the syrup I guess. I truely believe this will make you loose weight if you take this. At least, when you normally drink Coca Cola or Fanta the entire day. These also are in many flavours, and I haven't found my number 1 yet. The taste is sweet so you don't have to put a lot of powder in it, or else your teeth will fall out.

This is also something your teeth will fall out from. I have never seen it before, but my friend mentioned it when we walked by. This is energy-drink. Normally when I see energydrink in dutch supermarkets, they are like 250 to 500 ml, while these are only 100 and 150 ml. I tried the right one, and I must say that you really do get a lot of energy from it. But it also tastes like someone put your mouth full with sugar. Anyway, this stuff is great when you have a lack of sleep and you need to work or something.

But that was it for this times Shoplog. Hope you liked it and stay tuned!!

One year of Li Hao | Anniversary! :D

Hey everyone!

Today it is exactly one year ago when I introduced myself here at blogspot. Can't believe time goes incredibly fast. As I was looking back on my blog today I think I made progress. In the beginning my blog wasn't stable and now I try to give my blog more grip with, for example, my LOTW. I also want to do more DIY and all the things I like and what comes from Asia.
Last year, I didn't do many blogs because I was still trying to know how blogger works. Still, even today I don't know how it works completely but I can make my way through it.

What is really catching for me are all the blogs with my experiences. Like Cosplayconventions, hunting for fabric for my first outfit(too bad I lost all little pieces of film because my laptop crashed.....) and my first shoplog about Huishoudbeurs.  I also try to let you see what I kind of outfits I like to wear and what kind of hairstyles go well with special events.

I'm really excited to go on with my blog, and hope I can put even more effort in it besides my school and other must-do's in my life. Eventhough I'm still camera-shy I hope to do some tutorials and shoplogs on youtube to show you guys something more about me!

Since this blog Li Hao excists for one year, I want to let you guys know what I want to do with my blog this year:

Look of the Week. It already excists but is is something that came up with the start of 2013, and it really is something I will not quit, even I am late sometimes (a).

What I Like: Here I want to show you some more stuff I like, get it more personal. Of course I am also going to give the pro's and cons ( I already did one but want to do this every two weeks)

Asiagoodies: As you probably know I'm a huge fan of all the things I see on ebay or what I see on others sites that I must have! This looks like my 'What I Like' , but it is only about asia-stuff. From outfits to candy to games, whatever I bought online from Asia!

Shoplog: This is also something I already did once, but I like to show you what I bought and what I think about it. Not only about clothing, but also other things like food. ( I like food!)

And last but not least, DIY: I want to do more with making videos and some DIY videos are a great start. It also would be great if I get suggestions, I really like it when people come with ideas! :)

So one year of Li Hao, and I hope there will follow many more! This is definitely something to stay tuned haha. And PS: I'm also going to re-do my layout this week so hope you guys like it! :)

Look of the Week 10 | Happy Kuma!

Hello everyone!

When I started to think winter was finally over, weather let me know it was not. This weekend it didn't stop raining and today I even see some ice again! Spring, when will you arrive?

It's still cold and I couldn't help to wear my most comfortable and cute Kuma-hoodie. This is still one of my favourite clothing pieces eventhough I don't wear it a lot. It is just extremely comfy for days like this, when you don't have to be outside for work or school, but just can relax and work on your blog, like me!

Furthermore I wear my comfy jeans I once bought at New Yorker ( where I used to work) and some new sneakers I bought a week ago. Last week I went shopping for spring because I couldn't wait the warm lovely sun to arrive, but I guess we have to wait. Anyway, I like the baby pink, it is really cute and goes well with spring, like any other soft and pastel colors.

The most cute thing on this outfit is definitely the capuchon with Kuma. What's also nice about this hoodie is that is has a zipper in the middle of your stomach, where you can put a lot of things in actually. :D

So that's it for this LOTW, hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned!

Asiagoodies | Cute Huge Plush Panda

Hey everyone!

Today I want to show you something cute that I got lately. I love stuffed animals, especially when they are big, fluffy and hug-able. And this panda satisfies to all my expectations!

To start off: I LOVE stuff from Asia. Really, almost anything I see on the internet that comes from Asia is so gorgeous. If I only had the money to buy it all....
But anyway, since I'm always broke (like a lot of other girls) my boyfriend and my two little brothers were so sweet to buy me this plush animal for me as a present. Isn't that lovable?

So this stuffed panda is bought from Ebay and was purchased from China. This animal is in my room for a couple of weeks now and I adore it so much! It's pretty huge, and then to mention that they even have a bigger one!(100cm!!) The boys thought that would be a bit too much of it all so they got me this one, which is already 70cm long. It doesn't even fit in my bed so now it's lying on a blanket on the floor with my other cute stuffed animals ^^.

What I really like is that it feels so soft! I can hold, hug and stroke this plushie panda for ever. What I also like is his face. It has sweet pink blushes and smiles so cute. And then the big eyes, wow! You can almost say that I'm obsessed with this plush panda.

This was just my short blog about this cute, soft Asiagoodie. Hope you liked it and stay tuned!

Look of the Week 9 | Color Clouds

Hey everyone!

Test-week is finally over, yay! The week started with dark clouds but ended up colourful! I like to wear colours but last couple days I'm just not in to it, probably because it was such a stressful week.

So for this weeks look I wear a lot of dark colours, but pimped it up with one of my favourite clothing-items: Jacket.
My Dr. Martens are my favourite boots at the moment, I almost wear them everyday because they are waterproof and easy to walk. You also know my grey pants with print which I wore at my LOTW2, and I also like this pants very much.

But I do not wear that t-shirt a lot, what also count for my jacket. I find it hard to combine this jacket eventhough I like the fabric and colour a lot. And to be honest, I totally forgot I had this shirt. I thought I throwed it away with my other old clothing-items, but apparently not it seems. :)

This is a short LOTW, it's simple, casual, and can be worn everyday. The jacket is amazing because of the fabric and can also be worn at events. The boots make it more edgy while the t-shirt shines it up with its tiny glams.

Hope you liked my look of this week. Stay tuned!
