Sexy Look Hello Kitty Amethyst Polyphenols Hydrating Double Lifting 3D Mask review

When I was at the Nishi convention, I found these cute Hello Kitty mask sheets, and couldn't do anything else but buy it. So I bought it. And today, I tried it. Before I try something I search over the internet for some information, but I couldn't find much. And since the back is all written in Chinese, I can't understand anything from it. I just figured out myself and it turned out good!

How the packaging looks, including funny instructions
There are more versions of this mask sheet, and I bought the purple one. This is called the Sexy Look Hello Kitty Amethyst Polyphenols Hydrating Double Lifting 3D Mask sheet, as described in the title. Pretty long isn't it? But I didn't buy it because of the name (like I even knew the name). I bought it because I have a weakness for cuteness, and Hello Kitty itself. I just couldn't leave it in the deallerroom. I was sold once I saw the packaging.
The mask, it looks spooky!
I don't do masks that often, but sometimes it's so relaxing! And today, I needed some relaxation, so I gave it a try. My skin felt dry and it needed some moist! I openend the package, picked out the mask and applied it on my face. Firstly, my face got really wet. It felt so...juicy I guess? After that, I noticed there are some extra things that go with the mask, which I've never seen before. It has ear-hooks!. Isn't that funny? That's what meant with the 'double lifting' and '3D'. Now my jawbones are getting moist too!
Everyone looks sexy with a mask sheet on right?
At the right photo you see how it's done with the ear-hooks.
After 30 minutes, I took it off. My face felt tight and tinkly. After throwing the mask away I gently pad off with a towel and applied a facial creme. I don't know if the photo's show it, but my skin isn't as red as before. It feels more moist and soft. For me this is something I would purchase again if I see it.

Before (L) and after (R)
What I like:
-I can feel and see the changes of my skin immediately
-It feels soft on my skin
-The packaging is supercute!
-The way of putting the mask on (with the ear-hooks)

What I dislike:
-The amount of the 'good stuff'. It's too much and it get's everywhere.

This was it for today, hope you liked it and stay tuned!

Li Hao

Nishicon 2013: My purchases

Already one week ago, the convention Nishicon took place in Zoetermeer. I blogged about this convention already, so click here to see it. Of course, I couldn't leave without buying something. And this time I bought a lot!

I brought more money than I usually would, but I love so much when I'm in a deallerroom, so I took some extra money to be sure I can buy all the stuff I want to have. The first thing that catched my eye was a little manga book about sisters. It was so cute to see, that it was a must have for me. I'm not a big fan of reading manga, but this book didn't come with a story. On every page there is a little note about a sisters love what comes with a drawing, and that's what I liked so much about it! I like to draw manga and this is incredibly cute.
My first Manga book!
Second thing I bought was a pillow. Not 'just a pillow', no, a sushi pillow! When I went to Animecon 2013 I already saw one, but wasn't able to buy. When I saw it this time, I couldn't resist it! And it was te only one left! It felt like this was meant to be, haha. But I'm really happy with this pillow, especially since it looks like sushi!
Omo, I love sushi!
I also bought a cuddly toy. I see cats like these often at an animeconvention, but I don't know from what they're from. I always wanted one since they are so cute, but only saw big ones before. This little one is so adorable. It lays on a little pillow and it smiles! I couldn't resist this cute little kittycat. And since I had money with me, I just bought it!
prrr, miauw?
I didn't want to go home with just some cuddly toys and a manga book, so I bought two masksheets from Hello Kitty. I didn't know they actually excisted. They were not really expensive according to normal mask sheets, so I bought them. They look cute with all the pink, so why not try them out? I'm wondering if this makes my skin more moist. The instruction drawings are really funny, so I can't wait to try the sheets out.
Aren't the drawinstructions funny?
And last but not least, my boyfriend suprised me with a big Totoro plush! After watching the movie 'My Neighbor Totoro', I wanted to have a Totoro myself. But I didn't expect it to be this huge! Now my room is completely filled with cute, big plush toys. There isn't much space left for myself anymore. Hmmm.... But I'm happy with this Totoro, except it laughs so creepy to me.

Look at the evil laugh! I can't sleep while he's watching me.
Hope you liked my blog! More coming soon!

Park Bom 'Go Away Superhero' costume part 3

This is the final part of my costume, and even the biggest part. Now I have to make the whole dress in one day. Believe me, it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. It also didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I can't complain since the amount of time was so little. As I mentioned before I lost my fabric, so the day before the convention I was able to buy new fabric. Immediately I started sewing, but it wasn't that easy.
the fabric
First of all the fabric was a bit see-through, so I had to put on the yellow fabric twice on the dress. I started of with the cape, since that was the easy part. I put two pieces of fabric together and sewed it. That's basically it. Yeah really, that was the easy part! Now comes the hard one.

The cape
I started drawing the lightning, which was more difficult than I thought. Every time I drew, it didn't seem to look like it. Of course, it looked like a lightning, but not the way Park Bom is wearing it. So after a couple of hours drawing this lightning, I was able to sew the two pieces together. Then I was thinking how I would get this on my dress. Sewing it would be hard, since I have to make sure I do not sew the backside of the dress together with this. I decided to stick it, with some special paper. Thanks to my mom for that easy idea. Just lay that paper beneath the dress and the lightning, and stick it together with an iron. That's it!

End in the end I place the cape at the dress, with the collar. But that failed a bit, in the end I had an other way of doing it than it was done with the original dress. But, I'm glad I finished just in time, so I shouldn't complain.

Nishicon 2013: Colors and craziness @Zoetermeer

Last weekend was Nishicon, another cosplayconvention. It's getting normal for me to go to conventions and film them. So you must check the video I made out! Nishicon was a lot of fun, and also behind this convention, lays a story.

To begin with, I would go to Nishicon with 5 other guys, but only three showed up. The other two were apparently still sleeping while we sitting in the train. One came in the afternoon, and the other showed up at 9 pm, when the Miku concert took place. Also the way back was an adventure itself: we couldn't seem to find a bus stop, and in the end my friends were running like crazy to get the bus in time once one of the guys and I discovered a bus stop. That was so much fun!

Just like the convention. I also went last year, but this was totally different. Not only was it held at another place, for me there was more to do. There were several workshops, and I did the sushi bead workshop! That was so much fun! Wow, I really need to do workshops at conventions more often! Of course, the sushi bead looks very amateur-ish, but I enjoyed it!
my self-made sushi bead!
I even was a photagrapher at a shoot! There were some cosplayers of Sword Art Online who wanted to do a photoshoot, and I was one of the persons to help them. Not that I'm a professional, but a professional camera is a good start right? I enjoyed that, and really like to do that more often!
One of the SAO photo's
furthermore there was a deallerroom and a gameroom as usual. But also two places in the building where you could eat, a main stage with different amusements, and many more rooms to enjoy! There also was a DDR competition. Since the first time I went to a cosplayconvention (and that is more than one year ago!) I wanted to DDR. But also this time, it was to busy for me to go in that small room.

And last but not least, the Hatsune Miku concert. That was the event I was waiting for the whole day! Unfortunately, it didn't turned out the way I hoped for. I guess many hoped for something else. After waiting for 45 minutes (It would began at 9pm but in the end it started at 9.45pm) I got exhausted and once I saw how Miku looked, I got a bit dissapointed. Sure, the band was good and I couldn't do that myself, but because I was exhausted and everyone waited for so long, it was a bit dissapointing.

Anyway, I loved Nishicon! I also bought a couple of things, so stay tuned! And tomorrow I'll post part 3 of my Park Bom costume. I can't wait for Tsunacon. I already have an idea as whom I'm going.

This day's outfit: Superhero cosplay

When this is posted, it should actually be called: Yesterday's outfit. But nevermind that! As I had blogged before, I was making this costume worn by Park Bom in one of her musicvideo's. I thought it was going to be easy, but I couldn't be more wrong. First of all the lightning in the front of the dress. It freaked me out! And in the end this dress didn't turn out the way I wanted it to be. But that doesnt matter, I'm already happy it's finished.

The part of this costume I like the most are, without a doubt, the shoes. I love them so much! That's one of the main reasons why I wanted to make this dress. On the convention, a lot of people complimented my shoes! That is a nice feeling.

The accesoires were also a big part of this costume. And I'm not only talking about the earrings, but I'm also talking about the fringe. Yes, that fringe is fake. But since Park Bom always had a fringe, I need to have that too. What was easy about her hair, is that she had her hair dyed in almost every colour! So I didn't need a wig for that.

The photo might be a little dark, but that was because the place was a bit dark. I couldn't get a better pic, but I hope this is enough to show you how I looked like. Anyway, it was fun to do, eventhough nobody noticed me. But I guess an animeconvention is not meant for kpop-lookalikes? I just need to wait for a kpop-convention then haha.

Part 3 of my costume is coming up, so is the Nishicon convention + my purchases + the film I made too!
Stay tuned :)

Park Bom 'Go Away Superhero' Costume part 2

Click here for part 1 !!

Today I went to the mall to buy some stuff for my earrings. Park Bom is wearing two different earrings, which you won't find easily in a store. I decided to make it myself. Therefore I need: A blue hairextension, (old) earrings, some carton, black plaint and a brush/black marker, hot glue, a (transparant) thread, scissors and a pencil. I thought this was going to be easy as pie, but I underestimate it. In the end it took me 1,5 hours to complete this all, just by ruining the extension and get messed up with the hot glue.

I started of with the exclamation mark. With a pencil I drew the exclamation mark on the carton, and cut it out twice. Then I painted it black, but you can also use a black marker if you want to. I just used the paint since this one is more black than the marker. I let it dry and after that I used the thread, to stick it together with hot glue. When it was dry, I glued it together with my earring. And that was all it. But believe me, I rather don't use hot glue, but some other kind that won't stick at anything else! So if you have an other type of glue, I recommend to use that instead ;) The pro with hot glue is that when it's sticks, it stays. Here my steps in photo's!

The result!!
The next earring was a bit harder. I accidently made the extension too greasy, and still need to get it out for a better result. I made it a bit greasy so it was easier to work with. I cut the extension, since we don't need the upper part, and devided that into two equal section. With hot glue I layered the earring with the blue hair. Layer by layer, and that was a bit frustrating. Hairs falling off, glue sticking at my fingers and around the earring. But in the end it all worked out!! And again, my steps in photo's :).

The result!
Now I'm just having that tiny problem, I can't seem to find my fabric anymore. I didn't think about it for quite some time, so I don't know where to look. I looked everywhere in my house...so I hope I'll find it, or else, I have to pray that the market on friday sells yellow fabric.

Hope you enjoyed it!

Park Bom 'Go Away Superhero' Costume part 1

I'm back again! Wow, can't hardly remember when it was the last time I blogged. Yes, school comes first, but I still need my free time. Luckly I got the rest of the week off, so I have plenty of time left. Not only for myself, but also to make this costume for next saturday's convention Nishicon.

Just like last year, I'm going as Park Bom. I know, this Kpop idol is not very anime-like, but I still think it's a excuse to dress that way. I like to make costumes, and like last time (click here to see the 'making of' of the Asuna schooluniform) I wanna blog about it.

This first part is about getting stuff together. Tomorrow I will start sewing, but for now let's see what I already have in stock. More than a year ago I bought these awesome shoes by Jeremy Scott. I saw them in the videoclip and fell instantly in love. I have them, but I do not wear them that much. I'm afraid they get dirty soon. I really want to wear them, to give it a special memory, but on the other side I really need to be careful!

The shoes are of course one of the two biggest parts of this costume. With other shoes, the costume wouldn't be complete. How do you want to find some look a likes in the mall? I tell you, it's almost impossible (At least if you leave at a mainstream place like mine).
Next thing are the fishnet stockings. I also have these ones in stock for a little while. Now I'm starting to wonder why I even bought them. Let's not think about that, this time it comes in handy.

For the 'Ugly' dress of Park Bom I made last year, I ordered a long sleeved dress. But since that one didn't arrive on time, I bought another one and left this one behind. Wow, this also comes in handy now! I don't need to buy anything anymore, except earrings. I also got the fabric, as I told you about a couple of weeks ago. I'm praying it is enough to work with! First I'm going to sew the cape and thundershock onto the dress, then I'm going to make the earrings.

I'll update you tomorrow!

Holika Holika jewel-light waterproof eyeliner black #1 review

I'm back with another review! This time it's about Holika Holika's jewel-light eyeliner. They have many different colors, but I've chosen for the black one. Most of the time when I use an eyeliner, it's black. But since I'm really loving this eyeliner, I'm thinking of buying another color.

I have this eyeliner for a while now, and it's still one of my favourite products. Black is real black, and it's easy to apply. It's also a standard item I use when I cosplay, because I can make different eyeshapes without trying too hard. Plus, it is waterproof! Really, whenever I try to get it off with water, it just won't. You have to be really careful though, that you won't irritate the skin around your eyes. To prevent that, I always use a swab with a bit of eyemake-up remover.

The texture of this eyeliner is very creamy, which makes me think it will smudge easily. But I was wrong. Yes, it smudge under my eyes, but only after a couple of hours or when my skin is oily. Besides that, it doesn't! Although you can smudge it out yourself for a more shady look, the eyeliner will keep in place. That's why it's one of my favourite items.

Where I have to be careful though, is sharpen the pencil. Because of the creamy texture it doesn't go as smooth as it would with other pencils. Over time you get used to it. ;)

Still, If I want the perfect cat-eye, I rather use liquid eyeliner because of it's exactness. But for an everyday look this is the eyeliner you're looking for!

What I like:
- the creamy texture
- the amount of colours!
- It's waterproof

What I dislike:
- Sharpning might be a problem sometimes
- The black colour smudges out after a couple of hours

Hope you enjoyed and stay tuned,
Bweyo,
Li Hao
