Review | Tonymoly Panda's Dream Eye Patch

Hey everyone!
Today I have a new review for you. It's a product that'll turn you into a panda! Well, not really, it should make you look less like a panda. How? Well, these patches should get rid of your panda eyes (your dark cirkces).  To be honest, I only bought it because the package looked look. I can't resist cute panda's!

Since I don't sleep that well these days, I have some dark circles around my eyes. Normally I would use something as simple as a bit of cucumber, but I was in to try something new. This was what came across, so I immediatly bought it and tried it out.

When I opened the package, I already saw that these patches were really moist. I had the moist litteraly everwhere over my hands. You could say the smell was normal, not special nor was it strong. I had to leave these patches on my eyes for about 20 minutes, but even after that the patches were filled with a lot of moist. The patches stick really easy on your skin, since they are so moist. They also have a little cut in the middle, so you can leave it on or off your eyes. It's mostly meant for the darker circles, but it could be relaxing when you put in on your eyes and just lay down.

How do I look? Like a panda? A bandit?
Or perhaps a mysterious superhero?
After the 20 minutes, I didn't feel much difference. I also didn't see much difference. I was hoping for something that would feel refreshing and energizing, but that was not the case for me. It did feel good, but not the way I expected. I was also a little disappointed, since I still had some dark circles left. The photo's may show different, but that's because of different light.

Before (L) and After (R).
What I like:
- The package.
- The cut in the patches.
- It's relaxing.
- It's not expensive.

What I dislike:
- I still have dark circles after using.
- For me it's a bit too moist, especially when it doesn't really seem to work.

I hope you enjoyed, and stay tuned!
Bweyo,
Li Hao

New in | Yoshinon puppet from anime Date a Live

Remember I posted a drawing from Yoshino a while ago? There I said that I want her puppet, Yoshinon, very bad. And today it arrived. I was extremely excited when it arrived. Everytime I see this puppet I can't stop smiling, that's how much I love this rabbit!
Look who's my favourite buddy now ;)
So Yoshinon is originally a hand puppet, and that's also the way they made this one. It's really cute to have my first puppet ever, and that it comes from an anime is so cool! I like the way this handpuppet represents the spirit Yoshino in the anime Date a Live. Yoshino herself is a cute girl whom is really shy, and Yoshinon just looks like a badass to me haha. I also think it is awesome that Yoshinon is a rabbit with an eyepatch, because I've never seen a rabbit with an eyepatch? That's just so cool.
Selfie!
The full puppet.
The back.
Now I even get more excited to buy Yoshino's cosplay! Stay tuned :)

Tsunacon 2014 | My Purchases

So it's already almost a week ago since I went to the Tsuna Convention. I already wrote a post about my main experience and about my cosplay, and I even made another video. Be sure to check them out as well!!

I bought a couple of things at Tsunacon. Firstly I saw some amazing manga-art at one stand. It was so beautifully made I just couldn't resist. One is a bit sexy and the others give me a strong and mysterious feeling. What do you think about the posters?

Oh la la!
Since the last convention Nishicon I mentioned a kpopstand from Hallyucon. They also organised the meeting with Eat Your Kimchi's Simon and Martina. The last time I didn't buy anything, but this time I saw a little doll from Dara, a member from K-popgroup 2NE1. As some of you know I'm a huge fan of this K-popgroup, so it was a must to have it! I rather bought Park Bom, since I also cosplay as her sometimes, but they already sold her within an hour! Better luck next time I guess. :)

Sandara! From the song 'I am the best'
And last but not least, I also bought Asuna-and Kirito-dolls from Sword Art Online! First I only bought Asuna, but I couldn't leave her alone like that. So a couple of hours later I also bought Kirito. And lucky me, that was the last Kirito they had!
The cutest couple!
And last but not least I purchased a Chopper Kitty! Well, that's how I call it. It's hello Kitty with a Chopper-hat. Isn't it cute? I also saw something like this on Nishicon, but by then I didn't have enough money. I'm glad I was able to buy it this time. :)
Chopper Kitty!
That's all I purchased this year. My room is getting really full with all the things I buy from cosplay/anime conventions. I need more space!

Anyway, hope you enjoyed and stay tuned!

Tsunacon 2014 | Broaden Your Horizon

It's already a couple of days ago since I stepped in the shoes of Shingeki No Kyojin's Mikasa. This is the second year I went to Tsunacon. To check my blog about last year, click here. For the third time Tsunacon was held at the Erasmus Expo at Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Eventhough it was the same place as the last two years, I experienced it differently than last year. I liked it how Tsunacon was able to keep certain rooms like bagroom, deallerroom and gameroom at the same place as last year. Now the chances are small that I would lost my group. I still did though. But in the meantime I enjoyed myself with random people which was a lot of fun as well.

To be hones, I liked Tsunacon more last year than this year. My experience was that there were more people. I like more people of course, the more the better. But it felt a bit overcrowded. There were also less things in the deallerroom I liked, there were more of the same stands than last year I believe.

Still I bought some stuff and I had a lot of fun. There also was a photoshoot for all the cosplayers of Shingeki No Kyojin! This was the second time I went to a photoshoot, last year was with a Sword Art Online Group and that was also at Tsunacon. I really enjoyed that a lot.

Such a big group! Are you able to find me? ;)
Since the theme of Tsunacon was "Broaden Your Horizon", I decided to do that with my video's about conventions. This is the first convention where I asked several cosplayers to film them, especially for a Cosplay Video. Now that is not something original, but it's awesome to experiment with new filmmaterial. I'll still make the video's I'm used to, and right now I'm editing one for Tsunacon.

I'll also make a post about the things I've purchased at Tsunacon, so stay tuned!

Shingeki No Kyojin costume part 2 (final part)

And here is the second part of my costume. Firstly I made the brown fabric that's going to be around my hips. I still don't know how to call it. So if you have a suggestion, name it in the comments below! I sewed the brown fabric and cut off the access fabric. Then I made some poppers on it so it would be easy to put on. That was it. Nothing that suprising right?
sewing it together.
added the poppers.
The belt system was more suprising to me. After all I made a look a like and not the original belt system. Still, when I went last sunday to Tsunacon I heard that those systems were so hard to put on! So secretly I'm happy I made mine on my own.
After thinking for a while on how to make this system, I started to ducktape the belts together. That way, I knew where I had to sew. After making this I realized I used the wrong needle, but since miracles exist, the needle for fabric was strong enough to sew through two(!!) belts.
I had a belt around my hips and as said in the previous post about this costume, I already made the belts which go around my legs. I then used a belt to get the two belts on each side connected to the main belt around my hips.
Looks pretty cool huh?

And again sewing it together.
The belts around the legs are connected to the main belt.
After that, I made the part that goes more to my knees. I also used ducktape to that and sewed that together. Then I adjusted the pair of buckles to the main belt and with some pins I added a belt just above the breastpart (I don't know how I should call it differently). This was sewed with my hands. Now, it's all done. Tada, I have my own beltsystem!
The endresult, although the buckle is not shown on the picture.
Hope you liked it and stay tuned!

Today's Look: Mikasa Ackerman

And here is my look for today! While you're reading this, I'll be sleeping already for sure. Today was a good day, but I don't have any energy left in my body.
I was happy that so many people wanted to take a picture with/of me! The last time I had that much attention was also at Tsunacon, in 2013 when I went as Asuna from Alfheim Online.
Anyway, I have a couple of photo's but none showing my whole outfit :( But, I DO have a photo with an evil and dagerous Titan and I feel very excited to show you!
Me with the evil Titan which wasn't that evil.

With Eren!

Stay tuned!

Shingeki No Kyojin costume part 1

And here I am, yet again, with another post about my costume! From this moment, I only need the things I make myself. This is the first part and within two days I'll post the second (which is also the last) part. The only things I need to make are the belt system and the brown piece of fabric that goes around the waist (I really do not have a clue how to call it). You can click here for the scarf, here for the wig and here for the jacket.
Look how many belts!
The shirt and the pair of braces.
Firstly I began with that brown fabric. I bought a brown shirt earlier this week, and I cut a piece off that would fit me. With some pins I customized it and I only have to sew the rough parts. That is something I'll do tomorrow.
The piece of fabric I cut.
The fabric with the pins.
For the belt system I bought a lot of belts and a pair of braces for my torso. I'm also not finished with the belt system, but I made a start. I began with the belts around the legs. Since I wanted to keep the buckle of the belt, I made some extra wholes in the belt. I now have four belts around my legs and still need to adjust that to my main belt, which goes around my hips.
Get the right size for the belts.
Make a whole for the buckle.
The result!
For now that's it, I hope I'll finish before sunday!

New in: Final piece of my cosplay, an Attack on Titan-Jacket

And here is the final piece of my cosplay outfit! It arrived later than expected, but better late than never. Since my cosplay is complete, I'm getting even more excited for the convention. Only seven days left!
The back of the jacket with it's logo
I like the jacket very much. It's has some details and they took just as much care for the inside as for the outside of this jacket. Although I think it kind of feels oversized, it fits great. Now I only have to make the belts and find some brown fabric that I can adjust to my thighs. When that's done, my whole outfit is finished!
The inside of the jacket

The jacket itself. Doesn't it look nice?
Besides my outfit, I already found my Eren! I'm really excited to cosplay a character from the same anime with my friend. What I also likte to do, is to cosplay more often with a group that cosplays from the same anime:).

Hope you liked my blog and stay tuned!
