Shiro No Game No Life Cosplay | Part I

As I told you before on my facebookpage, I'll be cosplaying Shiro next month! This is the fist part that I'll show you, even though it's no big deal. I just ordered the most things for this cosplay since I'm still working on my Tohka Yatogami cosplay from the anime ' Date a Live' .

The first thing that came in was the schooluniform of Shiro. I bought it for cheap via Ebay and I know I still have to change some little things, but for the price it's quite decent!

This costume consist four things: the dress, the jacket, the what I call half-sleeves and the yellow ribbon.

The dress is without shoulder straps so I was also sent transparent shoulder straps, which is nice. I don't like to pull my dress every 10 seconds so...haha. I like the length of the dress, since I'm quite tall (especially for the asian industry) so I'm glad that it doesn't look like a sexy and too short minidress, cause that isn't what the innocent Shiro looks like. ;)

The jacket also fits comfortably and looks pretty good, which I'm happy about. The sleeves are the right length and I actually have nothing more to talk about because it's just a nice jacket haha(>.<).

Then the yellow ribbon and the half-sleeves. When I where the sleeves of Hatsune Miku, they feel quite comfortable, but these not so much. I don't know exactly why. It's not as easy as it looks to get the sleeves at the right place, so you can see them just enough when the jacket is on. Maybe that's my struggle haha. The ribbon is yellow and looks good, but Shiro has a yellow with red ribbon, so I need to find a solution for that ^^.

All in all, I'm happy with the costume, even though I like it even more if I make the costume myself. But for the price it's way easier to buy it ;).

New In | Short Brown Cosplay Wig

Hey everybody!

Lately I was thinking what I really wanted for cosplay. Most of the time when I cosplay, I use very long wigs. And since it's a lot of work to keep them in good condition, I thought that it would be nice to have a random short wig for cosplay. I don't know why, but I feel more like I'm cosplaying with a wig on than with my own hair. :P

 So that's why I decided to buy an extra wig. I already have my Mikasa wig, which is also short, but I liked to have something extra. :) I like this wig, but I still think I'm gonna trim it at some places to give it that extra touch. It also looks a bit different than the photo is showing though.

Anyway, I'm happy to have an extra wig that I can wear for some random cosplays. ^^

Kirito GGO Cosplay | Final Part

So more than a month ago I cosplayed as Kirito from Sword Art Online, but I totally forgot the second cosplay part... =.=' Sorry guys!

In the first cosplay part I already showed you the most of the costume, but let me show you the things that were needed to make this cosplay complete in this second cosplay part!

First of all, I needed a wig. I do not have superlong hair and my hair wasn't in the right condition to dye it again (yeah, my hair has suffered a lot within the last couple of months) so I thought a wig was the best option. I'm not really sure it this is the right colour. I've seen some people cosplaying Kirito with black hair, but to me it doesn't look like black-black in the anime. It's more a darkbrown-black to me. So I bought (what I thought was) a dark brown wig, titled with Kirito GGO. But when it came in, it wasn't that dark brown as the picture. I still used it though, but I think I still need to find a way to get the wig darker haha.

What my costume couldn't miss, was a pair of pants. It might looked sexy without, but I didn't want to take that risk. To find a black pants was harder than I thought. Much harder! I could only find skinny jeans or pants that were way over my budget. In the end I found these, which had a discount. They were too long so I cut it the desired length and sewed it together. See here the result!

And last but not least, I needed some boots! They are not the same as Kirito, but I thought this would do ^_^. These are casual boots that I can wear everyday, which is nice. Also the boots were on sale. I love sales so much! They can give me what I want without getting broke.
