Animecon 2014 | My Purchases

This time I bought a lot at the convention! In the end I couldn't carry all my stuff anymore haha. So let's get started and see what I got!

The first thing that caught my eye was this huge poster of Sword Art Online. Sword Art Online is the first anime I've ever followed, so it brings some special memories with me. Not to forget I also cosplayed Asuna twice. :) Without hesitating I just bought it, so within the first five minutes I was carrying this poster of +- 115cm by 80 cm.

The second thing I bought was also from Sword Art Online. It is the first time ever that I bought a figurine. I mentioned this Asuna figurine before, but never had enough money to buy it though. Now I'm lucky to have it!

The third thing I bought was a poster from Shingeki No Kyojin. I like Mikasa a lot and I think this is a really nice poster. I want to fill up my walls completely with posters and this is one that I definitely need in my collection!

The fourth thing I bought was just for fun. I mentioned this pokémon drink so I just bought it. I don't know why haha. It tasted weird though, but not to bad.

And the last two things I bought were also a bit for fun. I like suprise bags so I couldn't help myself buying it. The first one I bought was the green one, which included anime stuff. But after I bought it, I saw a suprise bag of Rilakkuma! And let Rilakkuma just be the thing that I could not resist haha. So I just bought that immediately. The things I got from the suprise bags are real cute! For example I got a Hello Kitty mug, Yoshi keychain and a Rilakkuma etui. Just so adorable.

Today's Look | Tohka Yatogami Spirit/Maid Cosplay

Today I went to Animecon 2014, which I will blog about within a couple of days. (click here to see my post about Animecon 2013!)As I mentioned before, I wanted to go as Tohka from the anime Date a Live. Well, because I run out of time (to busy with studying), I wasn't able to finish the spirit outfit in time. I didn't know what to do, since it was almost printed in my mind that I would go as Tohka.

I had made two plans, in case it didn't work out the way I wanted.
Plan A: Finish the cosplay in time. If plan A is unable to reach, I had
Plan B: Make sure plan A succeed.
So that clearly didn't work out for me haha. So today, at 3.00AM, I decided that finishing the spirit outfit wouldn't be done any time soon. That's when I began to think: Since Shido 'sealed' Tohka's powers, she is not always able to transform in the full spirit form. And then I thought it would be a good idea if I cosplay as Tohka, but the 'half-spirit' way. I had the skirt and shoes done already, so I only made the neckpiece and hairpiece. That's all from Tohka. To complete the look, I grabbed my maid-costume that I also wore at Abunai 2013. I think it looks okay, since you can still see the 'Tohka' in it. :)

I wasn't sure in the beginning, but people still noticed me and I had a great time! I really needed it after all the stress that my study is giving me. I also met VenusAngelic and she was so sweet that I could take a picture with her!
