Abunai Cosplay Convention 2012 : The Incredible Journey

Hey everyone!
I know it's a long time ago I posted for the last time, but there was not much interest to say. Until now! Yesterday (probably two days ago when I post this) I went to Abunai, a yearly cosplay convention for three days. I know a lot of people are going three days, but one day was enough for me. Just too bad that I went on a Friday, because all the events were on Saturday and sunday. But still I really enjoysed! There were many huge rooms and many hallways. First it looked like a maze! In the beginning there was a registration hall, where we all should check-in. From that way, you could possibly go anywhere you want to. There was a catering, game room, DDR(Dance Dance Revolution) room, dealer room, maid café and a chillout room with karaoke bar.

the row that seemed endless.
But first things first: our journey. Since noone has a car, we could only go by train. Our travel time was 3,5 hours, which is a lot to me. Luckly this travel went easy( except for all those people who were staring at our costume haha) and soon we arrived at the place to be: Koningshof. When we came there, we were schocked: The row was so long!! We stayed in this row for more than an hour, could you believe that? Aniway, I saw many other people in this row cosplayed, it was so fun to see! I saw many Pikachu’s, some naruto’s, Goku’s(from Dragon Ball-Z), Lucy’s(from Fairy Tail) and even a Cookie Monster!! When we finally checked in and had our Abunai-bracelets on,the journey began.
Or as Abunai’s slogan says: The Incredible Journey!

First we looked for a catering, because we were so hungry after almost 5 hours! This catering was not from Abunai itself, so there was no japanese food. But some fries with mayonaise and a Coke made us happy enough to go on. After lunch, we looked for the Game Room. This was pretty big and there were many games. From Playstation 3 till Dreamcast, Fightgames till multiplayer minigames for 10 persons! It was so much fun, and if that wasn’t enough, there was also a DDR room! I love to dance, but unfortunately there wasn’t any space left. Better luck next time! At 5.30 pm we went to the dealer room, that would open at 6pm. Also here, there was a huge row. After almost an hour the dealer room finally opened! When I got in, I couldn’t believe my eyes: It was so huge! It really was amazing, I have no more to say about how suprised I was. Also here there were many things you could buy. Mostly seen was the anime-dvd’s and games. Some stands had big pluches, others contactlenses or clothing. There even was a K-Pop stand, where I bought my 2ne1 poster! I am so happy with it! The most populair stand was the doll-stand, where you could buy little anime-dolls. One stand sold a pluche Yoshi, something I’m searching for since a while. Too bad  I couldn’t afford it this time, but I will get you someday Yoshi!! Last but not least, a friend and I also went to a stand with lots of japanese Candy! It all looked so cute and sweet. I picked a card there and I will go to that site, to try some japanese Candy. Perhaps I will talk about it in my next blog. ;)
My friends being alone and sad haha.

But for now, this is it. Hope you liked it and check out some more photo’s below!
