Model Experience

Hey guys,

So today I'm gonna talk about this event I went two days ago. It's called Model Experience, and so it's about a model lifestyle. It was not huge, but big enough to create a nice convention. There were different stands, all in the theme of models. There was a catwalk where you could practice how to get your most feminine walk, some stands who let you know which nutrition is best for you and your body, some cooking-lessons to help you with those nutritions, and a stand to analyse your face on how oily, moisterised and acid your skin is. I went to the analyse and they told me your face should be between 30 and 40 percent oily (you think this is a lot but it's a good thing so it pretents your skin from dryness) , the moisterise of your skin should be at least 60 per cent, and the acid tells you how good your skin is protected from bacteria and other things that can cause your skin unevenness. It's like a pH, 0 is acid and 7 is basic. Unfortunately, mine was 8 which means my skin is very basic and in theory it's not so good. The person who did this test on me was very suprised, because she never saw this high note ever. Because of my skin is has an basic texture on it, bacteria can easily become into a small wound, which causes infections sometimes and this texture can also give you more pimples. The acid on your skin protects it from bacteria and other influence outside. Your pH should be between 4.5 and 5.5, but of course it's not the end of the world if your pH is a little different from it. This analyse was very useful to me and now I can buy products that matches the needs of my face more. ( Thanks to hannah Huidcoach who told me all of this)

Ralph Moorman! =D
Furthermore, I was able to had a conversation with Ralph Moorman, a man who coaches you with a good lifestyle and also made a book (de Hormoonfactor, dutch) about it. He told me some interesting things. Of course, we all know a good body begins with a good nutrition and sports are on a second place. More interesting was that health is also hormonal. When you find your hormonal balans, you will be more energenic and you will get your ideal weight and continue to maintain that weight. Ralph Moorman also told me that milkproducts and gluten aren't so good for you. He wants to produce 'pure' food, which is the best for your body. He also coaches people, and says he definitely sees results on the outside, like skin and weight, but also at the organs such as lungs or esophagus. And when you look at him, you just believes what he says, because he has such a gorgeous body OMG!!! He even got manboobs, damn. But this was it, hope you liked it and check all the other pictures below!!

Welness centre!!

Hey everyone,

like my last post said I had to find some photo's, well, here they are! First I wanna tell you about about the wellnesscentre, which was really great. The best part was, that the hotel was in the same building as the welness centre. My mom and I stayed there for two days. You think a wellnesscentre should you get relaxed and calm, but both my mom and I were totally EXHAUSTED after this weekend. Now I do feel relaxed and great, just so peaceful.

Anyway, we really enjoyed it. When you walk into the building, you walk into the hotel. On the -1st floor you can find the welness centre. I don't know if I should call it welness centre, hmm.. probably I could. There are many whirlpools, some even with a lavender smell. There also is a pool outside, we also went there because it was nice wheather. Besides the pools, there are two sauna's which I really like. I absolutely love to go to a sauna. All of that is pretty big.

Beside this, you could also have a special treatment, but they were kinda expensive for me, so I didn't use all of that. There also was a little shop with stuff for your body and hair, but that also was quite expensive, so I'm sorry I didn't brought something home!

Oh my, I totally forgot to write the name down. Well, this welness centre is called Sanadome, and the hotel is calles Scandic, which is a four out of five stars hotel.

We also had dinner in this hotel, that was expensive as well ( wow, what isn't expensive here? ) , but this food was so delicous!! I don't have a photo of my main menu, because I was so hungry!! I did made a photo of my dessert, which tasted awesome! So delicous, when I think about it I already start to slobber.

So, watch all the pictures I made! I have nothing else to say than stay tuned! this saturday I will go to a model experience event and perhaps, who knows, I write a piece about it ;D So excited!!!

Getting Spoiled

Hey everyone!

Last weekend my mother and I went to a Spa. I wanted to tell a lot about it, but I can't without my pictures! Too bad I cannot upload them because my parents have hiding the camera at a really good spot, so when they got home I'll ask them and then you'll see tons of photo's I made! So stay tuned,

Owl City

No, this is not about fireflies or other songs from the musicproject Owl City. This is about jewelry of owls, something I see more often. Two years ago this trend already begun, but now it even expans more!

When I think of the owl as accessoiries, I think of the golden owl that is attached to my grandma's keychain. Two years ago, I started to notice many stores who sell owl-necklaces. Now, owls are not only bangling at a necklace, but they're printed on shirts, their are earrings made with owls, sometimes even a ring. Don't be an owner, be an owler!

Where this trend comes from? I have no idea, to me it's just as mysterious as all the mustache accessoiries I see around. I won't regret buying it! ;)

People who live in our hearts

Have you ever lost someone special? Maybe family, or a great friend. Maybe someone who has moved, to another country or place where you won't get soon. You don't speak them often like you used to do, perhaps only talk on chats. It's hard not to miss them, to stay in contact with them. But most worse is, when that precious person has gone to heaven.

Last week I went with my boyfriend to his dad. His dad who past away two years ago. His dad past away at a young age, because of world-weary. I never got a chance to meet him, because I met my boyfriend just a year ago. He does tells me alot about his dad, what kind of dad he was, what he would do when there was trouble. To me, he sounds like a great man. A man who loved his children. He was strict yet kindly. The stories I've been told make me believe he was a good father and husband.

At the cemetery, I got emotional as well. Even if you don't know the person, you can get the feeling that someone is gone. That special person of my boyfriend has passed away, and I get the same feelings as he does. Do you got that as well?

This topic is not very usefull and doesn't give information or whatsoever, I just wanna share the feelings many people have. The ones that got away, will be forever in our heart.

dr.organic Bioactive Haircare

Hey everyone,

today my first review about dr.organic products. I've heard of the shampoos and conditioners before and had to try it!! What's so special about dr.organic, is that it only contains natural ingredients. Average shampoos contains ingredients that will make your hair look smooth and shiny, because of the SLS (Sodium Lauryl Sulphate) and the SLES (Sodium Laureth Sulphate), while it is actually quite bad for the hair and   skin. These do not give your hair a treatment, but you can see it as a    layer over your hair so it looks and feels healthy. Dr.organic has     none of this, it treats your hair fair.

There are different kinds of shampoos and conditioners, like Virgin Olive Oil, Royal Jelly, Lavender, Manuka Honey and Pomegranate. I tried the Pomegranate shampoo and the conditioner. I love to eat pomegranate and was wondering if my hair would love the pomegranate as well.

The bottles say: 'therapeutic bioactive hair therapy, designed to purify, protect and organically condiotion. The results speak for themselves.' It's free from parabens, SLS, artificial colour and harsch )chemicals, fragrances or preservatives). It's high antiocidant levels help the fight against free radicals, it combined with organic Aloe Vera leaves the hair feeling totally regenerated, shining with health and protected against the elements. It says that it's not tested on animals. The shampoo is transparent and the conditioner is white. Both have a delicious smell, but not to heavy.

What I first experienced was how soft my hair felt. It actually felt the same as when I come from the hairdresser. I noticed that the shampoo doesn't foam as much as other shampoos, but still cleans my hair. The conditioner feels the same as others I tried. You don't need more than other Now I'm using these products a few months, but it looks like my hair is accustomed of the product. Still my hair is more healthy than it used to be with other shampoos or conditioners, but it's not like the first few times, sad enough.

I would recommend this product, unless you won't pay €6,50 for each. It makes your hair not only look healthy, but cares for it too. Soon I will try some other products of dr.organic.

Hope you enjoyed!

Doll eyes

Hey everyone,

today I will talk about LANCÔME's HYPNÔSE Doll Eyes. I got it yesterday for my birthday from my lovely aunt. She told me this is the newest mascara in the country I live. I already knew this mascara, but never saw it here. I never used products of LANCÔME as far as I know, so I was pretty excited. First I read some other reviews about this product, and I got a little concerned about it. But, because I'm not really attracted to anything as long as I didn't experienced it, I tried the mascara.

First, I watched the commercial. To be honest, the commercial is NOT what you can expect, but that's my opinion of it ;) .So, this mascara goes with a cute silver, shiny box. What I first noticed, was that the box didn't weight much. The tube itself is black with grey roses on it on both sidses. On one side there's written LANCÔME in white with a little white rose next to it. On the other side there's written HYPNÔSE Doll Eyes, also in white with a little rose. When I opened the tube, I first mentioned the smell was unlike other mascara's. It should smell like roses, but that's not what I smelled. The smell is better than other mascara's, but I do not know what kind of use it has.

The brush of the mascara is also something I've never seen at a mascara. The top is very small and it gets bigger at the end. I think this should help to create a more doll-effect. Something that is a must for a doll are the long, thick lashes at the outer corner of the eyes. Unfortunately, it seems not to help that much. The silver box says that the lashes should gget volumized, extended and get a full lash fringe for a doll lash effect. It thickens lashes without weighing them down. I do not agree with this. When I apply this, my eyelashes are more visible. It gives them more length, but my lashes do not get thicker. I don't believe you get the real doll-effect when you only use this mascara. It doesn't give more volume or a fuller look. Also, it does not curl your lashes. At last, because of the smell they put in, my eyes get a little bit irritated.

This mascara can look good with black eyeliner or pencil. You shouldn't overdo your makeup or else nobody will notice your eyelashes. Also, use an eyelash curler so your lashes will appear more in the face. I found this cute video by Michelle Phan, who was inspired with the mascara. I think this is also an inspiring tutorial for this mascara.
Hope you enjoyed it! For questions, ask them in a comment, and I'll reply them :)
